Welcome to Luang Prabang! Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, relaxing or exploring the charming surroundings at your own pace.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Luang Prabang. Visit the National Museum (Former Royal Palace), home to an impressive collection of royal artifacts reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Laos. Continue to Wat Visoun, the city’s oldest and most sacred temple, famous for its distinctive Watermelon Stupa, followed by a visit to the historic Wat Aham.

Later, travel to the breathtaking Kuang Si Waterfall. En route, visit the ethnic villages of Ban Ouay, Ban Ou, and Ban Thapene to experience the traditional lifestyle of local communities. At the waterfall, enjoy a leisurely walk through the national park, visit the Asian Bear Rescue Centre, and relax or swim in the crystal-clear turquoise pools.

Return to Luang Prabang and climb the 328 steps of Mount Phousi for spectacular sunset views over the city and the Mekong River. End the day by exploring the vibrant Night Market, famous for its handmade textiles, local handicrafts, and traditional souvenirs.

Begin the day with an optional Alms Giving Ceremony, where saffron-robed monks collect offerings from local residents—one of Laos’ most treasured Buddhist traditions. Afterwards, visit the lively Morning Market to experience local culture and browse traditional products, fresh produce, and hill-tribe handicrafts.

Return to the hotel for breakfast before visiting the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, a masterpiece of classical Lao architecture. Later, enjoy a scenic Mekong River cruise to the famous Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting & Tham Phoum), home to thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues left by pilgrims over the centuries.

En route, stop at Ban Xang Hai, a village renowned for its traditional rice wine production. After returning to Luang Prabang, visit Ban Xang Khong, famous for its silk hand-weaving and traditional Saa paper-making.

After breakfast we ride 306km uphill on a mountain rim surrounded by stunning natural scenery to the historical site of Xieng khuang which was destroyed by U.S. bombing from 1964 to 1973. Once we arrive, we will be transferred to visit the plain of jars which is an archaeological site with hundreds of big stone jars scattered on the plains. If we have time, we will visit the old capital Muang khuang and nearby villages where Hmong hill tribesmen live with a colorful history and interesting local culture. We will spend an overnight in xiang khuang.

After breakfast, depart by road for the scenic town of Vang Vieng. Along the journey, visit the ancient Tham Pra Cave, home to centuries-old Buddha images, and stop at several Hmong and hill tribe villages to experience the local culture and traditions. Enjoy multiple photo stops as you travel through spectacular mountain landscapes, lush forests, and picturesque countryside.

Upon arrival in Vang Vieng, take a short break before enjoying a relaxing long-tail boat cruise on the Nam Song River, offering beautiful views of the surrounding limestone mountains. Later, visit a mulberry farm to sample the region’s famous mulberry tea.

After breakfast, depart for Vientiane, a scenic drive of approximately 3 hours. En route, stop at Ban Houimor Village, known for its traditional handicrafts, and visit the KM52 Hmong Market, where local communities sell fresh produce and handmade goods.

Upon arrival in Vientiane, check in to your hotel before beginning a city tour. Visit Wat Sisaket, the city’s oldest surviving temple, renowned for its beautiful frescoes and thousands of Buddha images. Continue to Haw Prakeo, the former royal temple that once housed the revered Emerald Buddha.

Later, stop at the impressive Patuxay Monument, often called Vientiane’s Arc de Triomphe, before concluding the tour at the magnificent That Luang Stupa, the most important national monument and symbol of Laos.

After breakfast, depart early for Ban Na Hin in Khammouane Province. Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Lao countryside with several stops along the way to stretch your legs and capture photographs of the stunning mountain landscapes and rural villages.

Arrive at Ban Na Hin, the gateway to the famous Khong Lor Cave, by late afternoon (subject to road and traffic conditions). Upon arrival, take a leisurely walk around the charming village to experience the local culture and traditional way of life.

After breakfast, take a short drive to the spectacular Khong Lor Cave, one of Laos’ most remarkable natural wonders. Formed by the Hinboun River, this impressive 7.5 km-long limestone cave features towering rock formations and ceilings rising up to 100 meters. Enjoy an unforgettable journey through the cave aboard a motorized canoe, admiring its stunning underground scenery.

On the return journey, stop to visit the beautiful That Mouang Waterfall and That Namsanam Waterfall, where you can enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings and take memorable photographs.

After breakfast, depart from Ban Na Hin and continue your journey south to the vibrant town of Pakse. Along the way, enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside before stopping for lunch in Pakse (at your own expense).

Pakse is a fast-growing commercial hub connecting Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam, and is known for its charming French colonial architecture and relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the town, stroll through its streets, or simply relax.

After breakfast, drive to Champasak to visit the magnificent Wat Phu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Southeast Asia’s most impressive pre-Angkorian Khmer temple complexes. Nestled at the foothills of Mount Phou Kao, this remarkable archaeological site dates back to the 10th century, predating the famous Angkor temples of Cambodia.

After exploring the ancient ruins, continue by road to Ban Hatxaikhoun, where you will cross the mighty Mekong River to reach Don Khong. The largest island in the 4,000 Islands (Si Phan Don) region, Don Khong is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, scenic landscapes, and natural beauty.

After breakfast, explore the beautiful 4,000 Islands (Si Phan Don) region. Visit Ban Khone, where you can see well-preserved French colonial buildings and the remains of Laos’ first railway, including its historic locomotive.

Continue your sightseeing by tuk-tuk to the spectacular Liphi Waterfall (Somphamit Falls), located near the Laos–Cambodia border and renowned for its powerful rapids and scenic beauty. If you’re lucky, you may also spot the rare Irrawaddy Mekong Dolphins near Ban Hang Khone.

Later, return to Ban Nakasang and drive to the magnificent Khone Phapheng Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia, often referred to as the “Niagara of the East.” Enjoy the breathtaking views before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, depart for the scenic Bolaven Plateau, a region famous for its cool climate, lush landscapes, fertile plantations, and spectacular waterfalls. Along the journey, enjoy views of coffee, tea, cardamom, banana, and other local plantations while experiencing the natural beauty of southern Laos.

Continue to Tad Lo Waterfall, one of the plateau’s most picturesque waterfalls. En route, visit the traditional ethnic villages of Alak, Nge, and Katu, where you can learn about the unique culture and lifestyle of the local communities.

In the evening, return to Pakse and check in to your hotel.
