Welcome to Luang Prabang, one of Southeast Asia’s best-preserved heritage cities, renowned for its peaceful atmosphere, rich culture, and stunning natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM (early check-in is subject to availability).

After a short rest, begin your sightseeing with visits to Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Mai, three of the city’s most significant temples. Later, climb Mount Phousi to explore the sacred golden stupa and enjoy breathtaking sunset views over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.

In the evening, stroll through the vibrant Night Market, where you can browse a wonderful selection of handmade textiles, local handicrafts, and souvenirs created by hill-tribe communities and local artisans.

After breakfast, visit the National Museum (Former Royal Palace), which houses an impressive collection of royal artifacts showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Laos. Continue your city tour with visits to Wat Sene, the oldest temple in Luang Prabang, and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, renowned for its elegant Lao architecture, intricate gilded decorations, and the famous Tree of Life glass mosaic.

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic Mekong River cruise to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues left by pilgrims over the centuries. En route, stop at Ban Xang Hai, a village famous for its traditional rice wine production.

On the return journey, visit Ban Xang Khong, well known for its silk weaving and traditional Saa paper making, and Ban Phanom, a village renowned for its beautiful handwoven textiles.

Begin the day with an optional early morning Alms Giving Ceremony, where saffron-robed monks collect offerings from local residents—one of Laos’ most cherished Buddhist traditions. After breakfast, visit the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or take a leisurely walk through the surrounding forest trails.

Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, depart on a scenic 306 km drive through picturesque mountain landscapes to Xieng Khouang, a region rich in history and natural beauty. This province bears significant historical importance due to events during the 1964–1973 conflict.

Upon arrival, visit the famous Plain of Jars, a UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site featuring hundreds of mysterious ancient stone jars scattered across the countryside. If time permits, continue to the former capital Muang Khoun and nearby Hmong villages, where you can experience the unique traditions, colorful culture, and daily life of the local hill tribe communities.
