Day 1 : Arrival in Colombo

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet our tour representative and transfer to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Established in 1975, the orphanage provides care and protection for orphaned and rescued elephants. Watch these gentle giants being fed and bathing in the nearby river, and learn about the conservation efforts dedicated to their welfare.

Later, continue your journey to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The remainder of the day is free to explore the city or enjoy the hotel’s facilities at your leisure.

Day 2 : Kandy City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital and a UNESCO World Heritage City. Begin with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the country’s most revered Buddhist shrines, believed to house a tooth relic of Lord Buddha. The temple is also renowned for the spectacular Kandy Esala Perahera, an annual cultural procession celebrated with beautifully decorated elephants, traditional dancers, and drummers.

Continue your tour with visits to the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, home to an impressive collection of orchids, giant bamboo, spice plants, and the famous Coco de Mer palm. Later, explore the Bahirawakanda Temple, enjoy the scenic beauty of Kandy Lake, and learn about Sri Lanka’s tea heritage at the Ceylon Tea Museum.

Day 3 : Kandy – Colombo

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Colombo, enjoying a scenic journey through Sri Lanka’s picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax before setting out to explore the vibrant capital city.

Visit some of Colombo’s most popular attractions, including Viharamahadevi Park, the sacred Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara, and the historic Cathedral of St. Lucia. Continue to the bustling Pettah Market, where you can shop for local handicrafts, Ceylon tea, spices, porcelain, and traditional souvenirs. Also visit the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) to see the replica of the famous Avukana Buddha Statue.

Day 4 : Colombo Day Two

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of shopping in Colombo, where you can explore a mix of traditional markets and modern shopping centres. Browse for authentic Sri Lankan products such as Ceylon tea, gemstones, spices, wooden handicrafts, handloom textiles, batik fabrics, and beautiful saris.

Visit some of the city’s most popular shopping destinations, including Pettah Market, Galle Face Green Fair, Liberty Plaza, and Arcade Independence Square, offering everything from local souvenirs to international brands.

Day 5 : Depart Colombo

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight. As your unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka comes to an end, take home cherished memories of its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality.
