Welcome to Chiang Mai
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, our representative will meet you and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you and your personal activities.
Chiang Mai, Thailand’s Northern Rose, is the second biggest city in the country. You can also visit the renowned Night Bazaar by yourself.
Stay at the Hotel
After breakfast, take a drive to Mae Sa Elephant Camp, where you can observe elephant activities such as bathing of elephants. You can also choose to ride the elephants. In Thailand, elephants are considered as the spiritual animals. They are called “God of Elephants”. There are many Elephant Camps in Chiang Mai, and Mae Sa Camp is one of the biggest. They have over seventy elephants trained since they were two or three years old.
After lunch, we will continue to the area of Sankampang, which is famous for handicrafts and the main production place for Thai Silk. Here, we can observe how Thai Silk is made.
After that, drive about 45 minutes uphill to the mountain, where you can visit the most important religious place in Chiang Mai. This Buddhist temple is full of colorful history.
You can stay overnight at the hotel.

Overnight Stay at Phuket Hotel.
After breakfast, we will drive north to Chiang Dao mountain town, where we can stop and sample locally produced Royal Project coffee at a small lake. Then, continue north to Thaton, where we can enjoy a beautiful view from Thaton temple. After lunch, drive north for 3 hours to the golden triangle via Doi Mae salong. Opium poppies were widely planted in Mae Salong; after it was banned by the government, it became a tea plantation. We will drive to the golden triangle and stay at Chiang Rai hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we will leave for Sop Ruak, where we will view the Golden Triangle at the intersection of the Mekong river, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand.
On board our private speed boat, we will cross the border of Laotian into Thailand on Don Sao island. (Please take your original passport with you for this activity.)
After disembarking, we will visit the old city of Khiang Saen, where we will visit the ancient ruins and temples.
After lunch, we will have a sightseeing tour of the magnificent Wat rong Khun, before heading back to Khiang Mai.
The temple buildings are handmade with white clay and glass, which gleam under the sun’s rays.
We will reach Chiang Mai, where we will spend the night at the hotel / resort.
After breakfast, you’ll be taken to Chiang Mai airport for your next journey to Bangkok. Once you arrive in Bangkok, you’ll continue with the city tour which includes some of the city’s most famous landmarks including some of the most fascinating temples around the city.
Take a look at Wat Traimit, the Golden Buddha Temple, which is located at the end of China Town’s Yaowarat Road. It’s close to Hualampong railway station and houses the world’s largest gold seated Buddha weighing five and a half tons. The buddhas were crafted in gold and used to hide them from invading armies.
Also, pay a visit to Wat Ben, most commonly known as Wat Benja, which was built in 1900 by king Rama V. It’s famous for more than one reason. It’s also known as ‘The Marble Temple’, as all the outer walls of main temple are covered in marble imported from Italy. Plus, it’s the temple that is embossed with 5-baht
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head to the airport for your return journey with fond memories of Thailand. We suggest you visit the elegant squares of Bangkok. There is a huge selection of not only souvenirs, but also handicrafts and luxury items. Bargain-hunting is a fascinating experience.
